WHAT WE BELIEVE

It is important that we translate what we say into practical statement of belief: We believe that the Christian Nurse enters a relationship with Jesus Christ through a born-again experience.

MISSION EXPEDITION

What a blessing to take care to near, far or distant lands, disasters zones, impoverished nations, children and families in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The devastations caused by famine, war and natural disasters leaves much to be desired. Through our Association, we solicit medical supplies and equipment through our annual outreach events and organize health camps to children and families in need.

SPIRITUAL SUPPORT

At the AHCP, we care for the spiritual wellbeing of our members. We believe that healthy living means a balance of the physical, emotion and spiritual faculties. The foundation of every Christian nurse is his/her relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide a non-conventional environment for spiritual fellowship and nourishment. Offering prayer on issues affecting nurses on the job or workplace and providing scriptural help that guides marriages and relationships, is the foundation of the association.

CONFERENCES

The AHCP hold monthly, quarterly, annual and yearly seminars, meetings and conferences covering all areas of nurses spiritual, professional, health and family life. Our dedicated leaders know what it takes to address the deep sense of needs among our members. Our conferences covers issues such as — nurses and spirituality; nurse in the caring hands of Jesus; love and relationship; the nursing side of life; the Christian nurse in the 21st century; The successful nurse in an ungodly environment; taking the stress out of nursing through a supernatural experience.

Community Health Fair

The AHCP is highly involved in the community. We work through our member’s churches or congregations to stage health fairs or camp clinics in a well-supervised and professional manner. At these forums, our nurses provide health literatures, takes residents blood pressure, conduct screen for diabetes, HIV/AIDES, Mammograms, etc. Educating the community about healthy living and options brings the caring home and strengthen the relationship between health care providers and the community it serves.
